Credits detail
Free. You start with 3 credits at signup (3 onboarding milestones). Then you get 1 credit every 30 days on automatic refresh. Unused credits don’t roll over.
Starter. 25 credits every 30 days, automatic. Refresh is tied to your Stripe billing cycle — your credits top up on your billing date. If you need more before the next refresh, buy a one-time top-up pack (1 / 10 / 25 credits — never expire) from the Billing page.
Pro. No counter used. Pro bypasses the credit gate entirely while the subscription is active. Generate as often as you like.

Free

Starter
- You want about one post per week per channel
- You’re willing to spend $14.99/mo for higher output
- 25 generations per month per site is enough for your cadence
A common Starter cadence: 1 GBP post and 1 FB post every weekday, generated as a pair (still 1 credit per generation run, even when both channels run together).
Pro
- You post multiple times a week
- You want to A/B different topics / angles without counting credits
- You want unlimited exploration during a busy season (back-to-school, holidays, summer launch)
Pro pays for itself the moment you’d have wanted a 5th generation in a month.
Upgrading
From Free: go to Billing → Upgrade to Starter or Upgrade to Pro inside the admin panel. Stripe Checkout handles the card entry.
From Starter to Pro: use the Upgrade to Pro path on the paywall or the no-credits card in the admin panel. This goes through Stripe’s Customer Portal because you already have an active subscription.
Promo offers: when a limited-time promo is running you’ll see “50% off for 12 months” badges on the no-credits card. Takes you through the same upgrade flow with the discount applied automatically.
Downgrading
You can downgrade (Pro → Starter, or any → Free via cancellation) anytime through Manage billing. Downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep your current benefits until then.

Switching sites
Each plan supports 1 site. If you need to work on multiple businesses, you’d currently need multiple accounts. Multi-site on one account is on our roadmap.
Refunds
Refunds are case-by-case. Email hello@getlocalamp.com with your invoice ID and we’ll sort it out. Stripe doesn’t offer self-serve refunds through the portal.
